It’s no secret that Instagram is a fantastic social media platform for many users.
As an illustration, this is perfect for artists, models, and cat owners who want the world to know how adorable their pet is.

If a company’s goal is to increase sales and client base, does this social media platform warrant investment?
No doubt about it.
If, and only if, you carry it out correctly.

I’m Nathan Chan, the founder and publisher of Foundr Magazine, a bootstrapped startup that owes a great deal of its rapid success to the Instagram tactics I’ll be sharing with you in the following paragraphs. In the following several minutes, I’ll demonstrate the proper use of Instagram to expand your enterprise.
You’ll…

  • Find out how to make the most of your Instagram presence and create engaging material that will keep your followers coming back for more.
  • You’ll get more eyes on your website and more customers as you go.
  • Finally, you’ll learn about a few resources that can help you track your progress and make adjustments as necessary to maintain a steady increase in monthly followership and revenue.

I’ll get into the specifics in a minute, but first I should provide a broad picture of what you’re going to discover. As a quick recap, the three pillars of this Instagram marketing strategy are as follows:

  • Raise your brand’s visibility by attracting more Instagram users by promoting content created by your target audience and other influential users.
  • Use Lead Magnets and Instagram Stories to Draw Customers to Your Site
  • Boost your sales with stirring content and a persuasive call to action (CTA).

You need to capture people’s attention (create engagement) before you can present them a relevant offer they’ll adore, and those are the three stages of marketing (generate conversions).
Now that you know the big picture, let’s go into the specifics of how you can implement each step to see your own business flourish through savvy Instagram marketing.

Increase Your Instagram Followings First

Getting more Instagram followers is Step 1 since you can’t do much of anything on the platform without them.

In a nutshell, the more people who follow you, the greater the chance that one of your posts may be seen by someone who might become a client.
Every single devotee has their own unique strengths and weaknesses. It’s important that your brand new customers be interested in what you have to offer.
The good news is that the two tips I’m going to provide you will help you attract more like-minded individuals who will follow you as you spread your message.

Optimal Use of Influencer Marketing

In case you haven’t heard the term “influencer marketing” before, it refers to the process of enlisting a well-known person to spread the word about your business.

Finally, let’s define an influencer.

Anyone with a sizable fanbase will do for our objectives. Everyone in the public eye qualifies, whether they’re an actress, singer, professional athlete, politician, company owner, or any other type of well-known person.
A person is influential if they have a sizable following of individuals who see them favourably and listen to what they have to say. One of the quickest methods to boost your Instagram popularity is to collaborate with someone like this.
These are some strategies for using influential people to boost your own fan base:

  • In other words, you may just pay them to spread the word about your material. A compensated endorsement would be something like this.
  • You don’t have to pay cash for a promotion if you have something useful to offer instead. Sending a product to a popular person in exchange for a review might pay off.
  • Just request their free promotion of your material. The greatest thing to do would be to offer to share some of their stuff in exchange for them sharing yours (this is called S4S, or shout-out for shout-out)

Bear in mind that an influencer need not be someone with massive popularity and fan bases.
Reaching out to “micro-influencers” can be rather fruitful.
And there are a few reasons why this is an excellent group to contact.
One reason is that they tend to have a greater rate of interaction with their followers than those who have a much larger following. (In general, larger crowds are less invested than smaller ones.) The cost of collaborating with micro-influencers is typically lower than that of larger influencers.
Finding and contacting micro-influencers in your field is a great place to start if you’re a new business trying to expand your audience.

Get your clients to do the heavy lifting.

Letting your consumers do the work for you by uploading user-generated content is a great approach to increase followers and purchases.
One excellent strategy for expanding your fan base is to promote user-generated material. Among other benefits, it aids in increasing credibility. It’s more credible when it comes from genuine consumers (rather than a company). In addition to generating more likes, comments, and shares, UGC also helps to attract a more engaged and vocal audience.
As such, ask your consumers to share photos of themselves on social media while using your product. This is a terrific example of “thefrankeffect,” which has the potential to receive hundreds of likes and comments if the material is truly outstanding.
